In 1994, Blake Wilson was influenced by his pastor, Rev. Bill Lawson, at the Wheeler Avenue Baptist Church to shift away from a profitable seven-year "career" climbing the corporate ladder and towards learning, loving, and serving Jesus Christ and His people. Upon leaving the Wheeler Avenue Baptist Church to begin serving as a Youth Minister, God started to hone Blake's abilities. For seven years, Pastor Blake was afforded the opportunity to serve as the co-director of The Center for Youth Ministry at the College of Biblical Studies in Houston, Texas.
While serving as the co-director for The Center for Youth Ministry, Pastor Blake personally discipled many new believers, including former NBA Players like Allan Houston and Charlie Ward, and to minister at many student camps and retreats across the country.
Pastor Blake Wilson is a native of Austin, Texas and currently serves as the lead pastor of Crossover Bible Fellowship in Houston, Texas.
He has made discipleship the central focus of Crossover's culture. Pastor Wilson earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Southwest Texas State University and his Master of Arts degree in Christian Education from Dallas Theological Seminary.
He is married to Dr. Ronique Wilson, and they have partnered together in marriage and ministry since 1994. They have two exceptional children, their daughter, Reagan Faith, and their son, Robert Chance.
