The Spiritual Gifts Ministry informs and equips CBF members to serve in ministry using their God-given gifts.
Mission
The mission of the Spiritual Gifts Ministry is to prepare God’s people for works of service, so that the body of Christ will be built up. We seek to provide the Body of Christ at Crossover with tools, teaching, and resources to uncover and understand their Gifs so they may be used in effective ministry as well as service to all.

What are the spiritual gifts?
Crossover recognizes 28 gifts acknowledged in the Bible. Please visit our Spiritual Gifts Highlights page to learn more about the gifts God gives to His body.
Why are the spiritual gifts important?
The main places in the Bible where we learn about Spiritual Gifts are 1 Corinthians 12-14, Romans 12 and Ephesians 4.
From these and other scripture, we learn the following key information about spiritual gifts:
1. Every Christian has at least one spiritual gift (1 Peter 4:10)
2. No Christian has all the gifts (1 Corinthians 12:28-30)
3. We cannot choose our gifts; the Holy Spirit distributes according to His will (1 Corinthians 12:7-11)
4. There is no gift that every Christian possesses (1 Corinthians 12:29-30)
5. Believers will account to the Lord for how they use their gifts (1 Peter 4:10)
6. Spiritual gifts indicate God’s call and purpose for a Christian’s life (Romans 12:2-8)
7. Gifts used without love do not accomplish God’s intended purposes (1 Corinthians 13:1-3)
8. Spiritual gifts are for the common good to build up the body (1 Corinthians 12:27)
How do I identify my spiritual gifts?
You will learn about your unique combination of spiritual gifts when you take our Spiritual Gifts class.
If you are a member at Crossover Bible Fellowship and would like to discover the gifts you’ve been blessed with, please complete the following steps:
1. Register for and complete the CBF New Life class. New Life is a prerequisite for the Spiritual Gifts class.
2.Register for and complete the Spiritual Gifts class.
In this class, you’ll take a spiritual gifts assessment and receive your results.
You will also learn about the ministries in the church and how you can use your giftings to serve the body.
