frequently asked questions

WHY GO ON FD2F mission TRIPS?
3.0 billion people in the world that have yet to hear the Gospel, and who do not have any access to the Gospel in their community, remains a global reality. The consistent story of the Scripture is God’s passionate love and pursuit of all people of the world.

We go into the world to be a model of courageous obedience to the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19-20), and to be active participants in seeing that the gospel for every person, and a church for every people is realized (Revelation 7:9-11)
WHAT ABOUT THE COST? WHAT DOES IT COVER?
The trip cost includes airfare, airport taxes, meals, lodging, in country transportation, ministry expenses, and international travel insurance
DO I HAVE TO RAISE MONEY?
Yes. Raising support for missions is a stewardship opportunity the Lord has given us to share with others what He is doing in the world. It puts the dependence on God, and not ourselves when we allow Him to be the provider for us.

Donations that exceed the need of the participant will still be used for mission projects. First priority will be given to ministry needs of that specific trip. If budgets for the particular missions trip are met, funds will go for future mission projects.
is training required?
Every team member is required to take the Front Door 2 Frontier curriculum. Front Door 2 Frontier is designed to impart a better understanding of Christ’s command for His church to make disciples of all nations. You will gain the tools to help you understand cross-cultural adaptation, and also identify interpersonal skills that lead to healthy teams involved in cross-cultural ministry.
do i need a passport? do I need a visa?
Yes, You will need a valid passport for all FD2F Mission Exposure Trips. The VISA requirement will vary depending on the country the team is traveling.
